July 31 - Playtime with Kristina Wong

*This workshop is about generating and organizing material in performances
that fly past the paper and right into the body. This session will have
participants creating playful unconventional theatrical work that blurs
genres, manipulating the boundaries between the audience and artist, and
taking unexpected turns for the brilliant.*

*Kristina Wong is a nationally presented solo performer and writer. Her work
has been recognized with support from the Creative Capital Foundation,
MAPFUND, National Performance Network, Center for Cultural Innovation,
Durfee Foundation, and four City of LA Artist-in-Residence awards. Her show
Wong Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest was this year’s kick-off event for the
National Endowment for the Arts Theater Institute at the REDCAT. **
