Silent Auction to benefit documentary photography - February 20, 2010
I'm writing on behalf of Julia Dean (founder of the Julia Dean Photo
Workshops in Venice California) to tell you about an exciting event. On
February 20, 2010 we are holding - with Aaron Eckhart as our host - a silent
auction with more than 100 photographs by the most well respected
photographers in the business (please refer to the attached list). This
public event will take place at the Stephen Cohen Gallery in Los Angeles
from 7:00-10:00 pm. We will also be holding a VIP pre-party from 5:00-7:00
pm, which will be by invitation only. These folks will include our
celebrity friends, art buyers, and the photographers in the auction.
Our goal is to raise money for documentary photography, and begin what is
called Project 5. This stands for 5 silent auctions to fun 5 socially
concerned projects over a period of 5 years.
For more information, I invite you to read our official press release (which
I've attached). I also invite you to view our website at
http://Photo4Change.org.
We would really appreciate if you could cover the event online. If you have
any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch.
Warm regards,
Angela Marklew
