From Community Catalyst:

Dear Partners:

At this historic time, we are sending a critical update to all of our partners interested in national health care reform. Last Thursday, the House Leadership released their health reform package, the Affordable Health Care for America Act (H.R. 3962). The bill ensures access to quality, stable, affordable health care; promotes competition; slows the growth in health care costs; and improves the quality of care. While this bill is not perfect, it is an historic step forward that we believe needs to be supported. For more information about the bill, see Community Catalyst’s summary of the bill: http://tinyurl.com/yg57s9z

This is the moment we have been working toward for months. Every Member of the House needs to hear from their constituents in the next 24 hours. Members need to know that people from their home state will support them when they cast a vote in favor of the bill.

ACTION STEP:

Contact your Representative today and forward this message to your networks asking them to make calls, too. The message is simple:

“Please vote in favor of H.R. 3962 when the bill comes to the floor this week. This is an historic opportunity to ensure health care for millions of Americans. As a constituent, I will support you when you cast this important vote.”

Sincerely,

Community Catalyst National Health Reform Tea
